Cherating Beach Malaysia

My company organize a trip for us for 3D2N. It was wonderful, all places are beautiful, love that it is all inclusive. Full of activities to try, good food and drinks all day. G.O are all helpful and friendly. This is the company 4th trip to Club Med Cherating and that should show how much we had wonderful experience here.

Luqman the best!! Was really helpful in helping me get a hang for the paddle board and kayaking. Truely made our experience a fun one.

The main reason my husband and I would happily return to Club Med Cherating with our daughter is because of the exceptional G.O. team at Petit Club Med — Rose, Fida, Liz, and Sharon. Their dedication, warmth, and genuine passion for their work were truly remarkable.

Our daughter absolutely loved her time with them. Their energy and encouragement brought out her extroverted side, and she was able to connect and participate enthusiastically in all the age-appropriate activities planned for her group.

As parents, we especially appreciated the personal attention given to the younger children in the 2–3-year-old age group. At this stage, they still need extra support, and the team provided that with both care and professionalism.

This thoughtful arrangement also gave my husband and me the rare opportunity to enjoy some personal time and truly relax during our holiday, knowing our daughter was in excellent hands.

Not forgetting the wonderful G.O.s at the bar — Sakiko and Cleo — whose warm hospitality and friendly presence added to the overall experience. They were always welcoming, attentive, and made visit to the bar an absolute pleasure.

Everything was great except the group guests that we got stuck with because they were unpleasant and disrespectful. But the GOs and staff were friendly, helpful and entertaining. From welcoming the guest, shoutout to GO Ginny for explaining thoroughly about the resort, & all the way to the pantai beach, everyone was accommodating. I got to say, my toddler especially loved the petit club. Booked for the whole day so I can enjoy some quality time with my husband. Thank you to GO Fida & her team for making her feel as comfortable and she would at home. Thanks for making my bittersweet birthday a lil bit sweeter.

I have been to Club Med several times and the employees (also known as GO) don’t disappoint with their level of service to the guests (also known as GM). Although this club is really dated in facilities (ever experience leaking ceilings?) they do maintain the facilities well and are attentive to GMs’ requests.

If you go between March and August you should get great weather to try out all the sports activities, including the water sports. There is a whole range of activities to try, for different levels of difficulty too.

Cherating has put in a lot of effort to stay relevant over the years. The cuisine in the main restaurant continues to focus on key cultures (Malay, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Western) but the menu changes daily. There are two types of coffee machines to try, a wide range of bread, dessert and ice cream, not to mention at least five live stations for you to sample. Rembulan restaurant now offers BBQ lunch two times weekly, with a special lime juice drink to go with it.

The GOs are exemplary in their service. The sports and bar teams are very attentive and spend a lot of time interacting with the GMs. Although some of them are new to Club Med and Cherating, they fit into what Club Med espouses - providing a home away from home for vacationers.

A special shoutout to Kat Zue, who looked after my daughter when she had severe sunburn. Zue is very funny and entertaining when we had the chance to lunch with her one day. Really impressed with her degree of medical knowledge and skills. You are in good hands in the village should you need medical attention.
