⭐ Club Med Tomamu Review (Jan 24–29)

We stayed at Club Med Tomamu from January 24 to January 29, and it was a truly enjoyable and stress-free experience.

As Korean guests, language can sometimes be a challenge at overseas resorts, but at Club Med Tomamu we felt comfortable from the very beginning.
The GO team was incredibly supportive, always ready to help and explain things clearly, which made it much easier to relax and fully enjoy our stay.

Kids Club
Jake at the Kids Club was wonderful with our child. His warm and caring attitude helped our child settle in quickly, and as parents, we felt very reassured leaving our child in his care.

Reception
Dori at reception was consistently kind and professional. Whenever we had questions or needed assistance, she explained everything patiently, which was especially helpful when language could have been a barrier.

Bar
A big thank you to Kaya, Hilda, and Linda at the bar. They always prepared our drinks quickly and beautifully, exactly as we requested. Their friendly service made our evenings even more enjoyable.

Overall, the facilities and natural surroundings were excellent, but what truly made this trip special was the genuine hospitality of the GO team.
Thanks to their support, even non-native English speakers can feel completely at ease here.

We would highly recommend Club Med Tomamu to families, especially those traveling with children, and we would love to return again in the future.

We had a great holiday - skiing conditions were amazing and great lessons; I had 5 sessions with Chris D who really focussed on the fundamentals and especially how to ski in powder - which was a huge help. We also enjoyed the free access to the pool/baths across the road from the club med.

The service at Club Med was excellent. The resort was very clean, the food was great, and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Jean, the yoga instructor, was especially warm and supportive. She shared a lot of useful information, and her yoga classes were both engaging and enjoyable. She thoughtfully adapted poses for different levels and physical conditions, which really helped me relax and release muscle tension after snowboarding.

The group snowboard lessons helped us get up to speed quickly. My favorite instructor was Jake. His lessons were very well organized, and it was always clear what to expect during class. He paid close attention to each student, offered personalized feedback, and provided positive encouragement that truly supported our progress.

That said, not all instructors were equally effective. For example, Yarin’s sessions felt quite rushed. After a very sloppy warm-up, he asked everyone to go up the mountain and snowboard straight down without much instruction or feedback. This was especially disappointing in a large group of over 10 people.

We also really loved the teachers at the Petite Club. Every teacher was patient, kind, and caring. My daughter absolutely loved all of them, as well as the well-planned indoor and outdoor activities. In particular, Allisia and Selina was always smiling, incredibly patient with the children, and gently guided them with great care and warmth.

Overall, my family truly loved this place and would definitely return again if we have the opportunity.

The morning stretching by Jean helped me to kick start my wonderful experience at Club Med Tomamu. I felt energised and ready for the day.

Jean (Yoga) instructor is really patient and friendly, and helps a lot to relax our muscles during morning yoga. It’s the must before a whole day snowboarding.
