Bintan Island

Our room was large with a king sized bed and another single bed for the LO. very comfortable mattresses for back support too. This was just the beginning of a fabulous stay, as the experience was much more, with yummy food and the main restaurant and dinner party at the lawn, fabulous and fun activities, genuine hospitality of GOs who made us feel so at home and not wanting to leave! The LO cried so hard when it was time to say goodbye.

Special mention to Circus Team Abby, Beatriz, Ian and Hendri who were so encouraging that I nailed Trapeze Knee Hang Catch, and LO nailed her knee hang too! Overall, GOs were all excellent, and I may not remember all their names, though they definitely include Harry, Ali, Grace, Sandy, Athena, Ling, Keven, Syasya, Angel, Garfield, Santos, Sentha, Fenny, Tohid, Hilda, Lucky, Rere, Richie, Jacky, Anna, Michael, Danial, Asim. Not forgetting the fun and professional photographers, Aji, Jerry and Dino who took fabulous photos for our family!

Last but not least, Village Chief Julien who has so much talent, is super dedicated as I see him walk the grounds all the time to make sure everything is running smoothly, and manages a very high performing team of GOs and staff. The entire team successfully made all guests feel that this is the best place on the planet to be at! We'd love to come back again!

We had a truly wonderful stay! The natural surroundings are stunning, with a beautiful beach and a peaceful environment that made our time there so relaxing. The resort offered thoughtful and fun activities that kept us engaged throughout. All the staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and the shows were impressively creative and entertaining.

Special thanks to Sandy for guiding us through the Ariel yoga session—it was such a unique and calming experience. Big shoutout to the cheerful Syasya who brought so much fun and energy to our days, and to Keven and his amazing team for all the great sports activities.

Thank you for the sweet memories—we’ll definitely cherish them!

Archery was really fun, Michael was the best teacher, we all had so much fun. Good luck trying to guess his accent! He deserves another paid day off for his amazing work.
