This valley is located 20 minutes north of Ubud. You can quite easily travel there yourself if you have a scooter or car since the road from Ubud is mostly straight. Renting a scooter or motorcycle is popular among tourists, so you can consider that. Just remember to wear a helmet at all times.
If you're staying closer to the capital, Denpasar, you would need to travel for about an hour and 15 minutes which makes hiring a taxi or transport from your hotel a better idea. The Tegalalang Rice Terrace is about one and a half hours away from the major beaches in the south, making it still quite accessible. If you're staying at Club Med Bali, we can also arrange for transportation to take you to the fields.
Waterbom water park is great for families with kids. Located in Kuta, it offers a range of water slides and pools for every member of the family. For the thrill seeker, there's the Climax; a long slide with a sheer drop that lasts a few seconds.
Sailing to Lembongan Island is one of the top things to do in Bali. Our day trip to Lembongan Island lets you snorkel, walk on the seafloor with an Aquanaut helmet, and enjoy the pristine beaches on the island. Lunch is also included, so all you have to do is enjoy yourself.
Engaging waves is what Bali is known for. If you like to surf, you can find waves all around this island from Nusa Dua to Kuta. There are plenty of places you can rent a surfboard, but if that doesn't cut it, just buy one from one of Bali's numerous surf shops.
