Cancún Mexico

We went to club med for a week and enjoyed our stay. We took part in activities like Bocce ball, archery, and sailing. The GOs and the staff made the trip special. Lalo (from the sailing team), Luis (from the sailing team), guérson, lalo boutique, pijama, jersey, and our room cleaning staff including Adriana. The beach was great and the food was always accessible and yummy.

My past experiences at Club Med Cancun were exceeded this past week on our family vacation. The GO team was very kind and welcoming and worked to establish a connection through out the week. The trapeze G.O team including Bethima, Blake, Oumaima, Yerko and Youssin was fabulous. They shared about their experiences and time with club med with us and Blake and Bethima joined us for multiple meals! I also met multiple other G.O’s in the village including Jersey, Obed, Nelson, and Pijama that were kind and accommodating and encouraged us to try some new sports and activities. G.O. Obed even recognized my sister and I from past visits to Club med which was very nice! The food was delicious and the rooms were kept very spacious and clean. The bartending staff, especially Miguel, were also very kind! I could not have asked for a better week of vacation filled with activities.

My grandfather came to this location yearly since it was built until he could no longer travel, for the snorkeling and the food. My son and I just returned from our 4th visit. As it was the first, or one of the first, resorts in Cancun, the property is massive and gorgeous. It never feels crowded, and there is never a battle for a beach chair. There is a giant stretch of the main beach, and smaller sand beaches great for the littles. The kids club is amazing and was so much fun for my boy; he loved going to it. The staff are all super friendly and happy. Standouts are Mario serving breakfast and lunch in Taco Arte on the beach, the snorkeling lifeguards, who were so helpful, and the dive team. Our most recent visit was to do our open water dive certification, and the instructors (Paco was our instructor but Juan and Jorge were also great), Atl, and Olga, were all fantastic. Monika and Viktor in the office were super helpful and accommodating.

The food is fantastic (I am a chef). Club Med has always been renowned for its cuisine and it is well warranted. There is so much variety I cannot imagine anyone not being able to find something to their taste.

We feel extremely comfortable and completely at home at Club Med Cancun. Although it is 30 years old, it has been recently renovated. Not insanely fancy, I would call it the perfect base camp. We’ve had many lesser experiences at other all-inclusive resorts - Club Med does not disappoint.

We visited the Jade space in Club Med Cancun in March 2025. The whole trip significantly exceeded our expectations. The service in Jade is amazing. Big thanks to Elisio, Daniel and all of the staff at the Jade bar for exceptional service. I wish I could call them all out. They are outstanding. The service manager for Jade was also great, Crystal. The new and expanded patio area in Jade is great. There is lots of seating all the time, both pool side and beach side. Since we last visited there were many other upgrades, including an incredible waterpark with slides that are fun for all ages, including teens, the sports island with new mini golf, and a beautiful new location for mini club. We enjoyed the scuba diving booked at the Scuba Centre at Club Med - I snorkeled while my teen son did scuba. We really enjoyed an outing also booked through Club Med involving snorkeling with sea turtles and swimming in a cenote. I highly recommend spending the money on a Club Med excursion if you can. We have been to this resort many times and this time was easily the best. On improvement points, I would say that the service in the restaurants outside of Jade could be improved. You usually had to actively search out someone to bring wine, water, etc. and to clear tables. The people that were there were great and they just seemed a little short of staff. However, the food was amazing and you just have to be prepared to be a little proactive in finding what you want.

This was our third visit, and we will be back. The experience worked for our family, ages 18 months to 69 years.
