Bodrum Palmiye Turkey

This is our fourth visit to Club Med Bodrum and again we had the most lovely relaxing time. The food as always was Delicious!! The resort is immaculately clean and tidy, all staff working so hard in the hot sunshine.
We had a wonderful evening meal at the Halikarnas restaurant.
Staff are all so helpful, special mentions to Abdul Kadir and Jakobb who looked after us so well at mealtimes.
Special shout out to Camille and his refereeing skills on the Pétanque court!!!

The water sports team is absolutely fantastic.
Selcuk, Eric, Sasha, Salahe, Sebastien, they are all amazing. Sailing is the main reason why we choose Club Med and the team truly were the center-point of our experience and the main reason why we would go back. The equipment is very good and really well-maintained.

The bar staff is also great. Always attentive, always kind, made us feel at home. Incredible service all around.

The only major negative feedback we have is the lack of smoke-free areas. We could not enjoy our meals without someone smoking next to us, and we had already complained about this back in 2023 but it has not improved at all. There are no smoke-free outdoor areas in the restaurants, which is simply ridiculous. This is extremely important for non-smokers and we heard a lot of other guests complaining about this. It is even a health concern given my wife is pregnant (which was clearly evident by her belly) and this didn't seem to matter. We mentioned this to Boris (Chef de Village) but he was not helpful at all; he dismissed our feedback and said we could eat inside. To be honest, we have been happier with other Chefs de Village.

Food is generally very good and with decent variety. The only items to point out here were during breakfast: the scrambled eggs are powder mix-based instead of made with actual eggs, the pressed orange juice tasted fermented and just wrong every single day, which was really a shame. Lastly, the fruit during meals was served/displayed visibly dirty and clearly unwashed, which is a bit of a concern for pregnant women.

This was our second visit to Club Med Bodrum in two years, and we enjoyed it as much as the first. Before our visit we'd contacted the Club to request a room location that would make the experience easier for someone with mobility limitations, and were delighted that this appeared to have been taken into account. The only criticisms we would make are about minor issues - that the extractor fan in our bathroom didn't work, and that the range of food available at Hallikarnasis was narrower and more repetitive than we recalled. In the main restaurant, the quality was excellent, and we were particularly grateful to Mehmet, the service manager on one of the balconies, for looking after us so well and for remembering our preferences. Also, the transfers from and to the airport were supremely well organised, and the use of exceptionally comfortable cars was much appreciated. All in all we had a wonderfully relaxing time, and are hoping to return next year.

I’ve never felt so healthy and safe in a Club Med! The HSE responsible Doğukan was excellent and I hope he is the chef du village next time we visit!

As always, Club Med delivers the most wonderful holiday experience. The atmosphere, seamless natural beauty of the resort and fantastic staff and food contribute to a truly worthwhile and enjoyable experience.
