Bintan Island Indonesia

We had a great time at Club Med Bintan. All the hallmarks of Club Med were present, lovely staff, great facilities, great food and a non-stop programme of activities.

The only aspect that was less than 5 stars is the age of the resort. Despite everything being beautifully clean there is no getting away from the fact that the buildings and pathways are 28 years old and bear the signs of that age.

We had a fabulous time and fly home to start our battle to lose our expanded holiday bellies!

Club Med Bintan is the ultimate no-brainer vacation for families with kids. It’s incredibly convenient to get to from Singapore, and from the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and easy. The beach is stunning—clean, calm, and perfect for little ones.

The variety of activities kept all of us entertained. From circus shows to archery and fitness classes, there was always something fun to do. The facilities are well-maintained, and we appreciated how kid-friendly everything was. Our daughter had an amazing time, and we could truly relax knowing she was safe and having fun.

The food was decent—some hits and some misses—but the overall variety ensured there was always something for everyone.

Overall, it’s a great value-for-money option if you’re looking for an easy, family-focused beach getaway with lots of experiences packed in.

We've just returned from our best family holiday at Club Med Bintan! Big shoutout to all the team for making our stay so enjoyable. Although all the staff are very welcoming, we must make mention of some individuals that we really bonded with.
First and foremost, members of the Sports Team that kept our busy family entertained, Michael @ Archery, I had complete faith that my husband and sons could hit a bullseye but me.....OMG, this man is a genius!! Thanks Michael.
Moshie @ Golf, my boys are forever grateful for your professional tips, here's hoping they continue onto a successful golfing career.
Sandy kindly assisted our very non flexible family at Yoga and Aerial Yoga. Sandy is so very gentle in her nature and encouraging to her clients especially when some of those in our family had trouble.
Matthew, Harry, Kevin, Harty and Jeevan, you guys make sports fun and our son Hugh had a blast with all the events that you guys were apart of.
Williams @ The Beach Bar makes the best cocktails and always greets you with a lovely smile and James that sings @ The Beach Bar, he has the voice of an angel and we never wanted him to finish his set.
Shoutout to the very friendly Rico who was a croupier at the Kids Casino, I was a little concerned how much my youngest son enjoyed himself-haha!
Garfield is one of the most friendly and caring people, always happy for a chat and we were so delighted that he came and took the time to say goodbye when we left the resort.
I was lucky enough to win a massage at the Day Spa during our stay, to be greeted by the lovely Chris at the Spa and to be pampered by Sukma for 50 minutes was pure bliss, she has some magic hands and I would highly recommend her.
We were delighted to have Arvi and Charmaine join us for lunch, they work behind the scenes at Club Med with the arrivals and departures, these two ladies do an amazing job behind the scenes and ensure that arrivals and departures happen seamlessly. They were two beautiful souls and we were so lucky to have spent time with them. If you get the opportunity to have a staff member have lunch with you please say yes as it's lovely to meet new people and to teach our children this skill to converse with new people.
The food at Club Med Bintan was AMAZING, compliments to all of the staff in this area, you're all so very clever and creative. We must make mention of Harison, the Master of Omelette's, you will be missed each morning in our household and personally I could have packed Harison & Sukma the Sushi and Sashimi Chef in my luggage and taken them home but it would be cruel of me to not share them both with all the other lucky visitors to the resort.
King Julien, you run a wonderful resort, compliments to you and your staff.

The best resort for family. The food is exceptional and rich choices. Although the bedroom was a bit old, it was cleaned and well maintained.
