Phuket Thailand

We have just spent one wonderful week of holidays at Club Med Phuket in October 2025.

The site is very nice and well maintained. The rooms are simple yet elegant, renovated recently. Our were in the section Q which was well located between the Mini Club, Zen pool and Spa, and not so far from the main restaurant and pool. The oasis family is at the opposite side, but we could easily reach it with the baggy service running every 15 minutes. Our kids loved the slides! The oasis family is amazing and I loved the detox drinks prepared at the bar. Beware that there are some renovation works in this area (in October 2025).

The food is delicious (I will miss it!) and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Compared to the other Club Med resorts I have done in Europe, the Thai service is way above. It is just excellent, from the cleaning team to the catering and bar teams... I can't list them all! The reception team was great (which is normally the main weakness of the European resorts). Everything is well structured and organized. There are so many choices of activities, from sport to amazing family events. Congrats to Max (head of site) and his whole GO and GE teams!

• Sophia, Ayoub, Ploy, Bew, Rita and Emilie who took care so well of our kids (Chloe and Daphne). Our girls loved them so much! And we, as parents, really appreciated the high quality job of Manow (family manager) and Sergio (her assistant). Let's not forget Jasmine and Cat from the Amazing family team who were excellent, friendly and kind.

• Aurelien (sport manager) and his AMAZING sport team.

-- Seksan Chukliang: it was an honor to receive training from such an ex-muay thai champion. In only a few days, I managed to learn the basics and some technics. And always in a great and friendly atmosphere (a mix of seriousness and jokes). Don't judge him by his age or physical appearance. I hope Club Med will keep him a long time!

-- See: for challenging me on the climbing, being so motivating and kind with me and my girls. You even managed to convert our youngest kid into climbing. She overcame her fears thanks to you and your encouraging words. We will remember your smile, jokes and kindness. You are a gem! 

-- Bacary: thank you for your kindness and patience to teach me Golf. I finally understood the theory! You're the best golf teacher I had so far in all Club Med resorts. 

-- Man and Nero, always friendly, smiling and helpful. We loved chatting with you.

• Sunny and her SPA staff. I have received such a wonderful body massage from Zim.

• Oat: the best receptionist! Such a hard worker, super friendly and helpful. I wish you a great career at Club Med. May all your dreams come true.

• Dori: the Korean PR. Always helpful and friendly from Day 1. He has a keen eye and noticed even the smallest details, offering immediately his help each time he was seeing me looking for anything.

• Gita was a great wine counselor and kindly helped us booking a table, organizing our daughter's birthday. Always with a big smile.

Now, for the improvements: 

• Please decrease the volume of the speakers at the bar during the after show party. The sound was sometimes reaching a painful level and I was scared for my kids. You can still enjoy the party with a lower sound (which would anyway remain quite high because there is plenty of room to decrease it!). Please invest in equipment to test and measure the sound level. We could not stay and party because of the sound level.

• Please reduce the costs of the excursions. More than 300 EUR for 2 adults for a one-day to Kho Phi Phi is way too high! Even if we include the lunch. I completely understand that we need to pay for quality, but I don't believe it worth this price. 

• Please revise the prices at the shop. 50 EUR for a T-Shirt is too high, and the Sales' offers were not that great (not many choices and still expensive). I was in Marbella resort in July 2024 and purchased much more items (from sunglasses to clothes and pouches). Has Club Med increased drastically their prices in one year?

This was my first Club Med experience and honestly Club Med Phuket raised the bar so high I don’t think I will ever find a place with amazing hospitality and activities. Everyone was friendly, helpful and smiling. Well done to all G.Os and G.Es.

It’s impossible to get bored here. There are lots of activities for everyone from archery to tennis, padel to golf, trapeze to Muay Thai boxing, yoga to snorkelling, dart to quiz and more. Kudos and thanks to Bimo, Ari, Man, Awan, Bakary and all the instructors and managers.

Food experience was amazing. Every meal becomes the most important thing during the day. Menu changes every day and the different buffets for different tastes. From Thai to Chinese, Indian to Italian, French to Japanese and many more. Kudos and thanks to Jeffry, Rishi, Edmund and all the chefs, restaurant managers and personnel. Plus big thank you to all the bar personnel.

Every night there was a different type of event and it was incredible. I am not talking about an ordinary all inclusive hotel animation, this is different every show was a full performance. Circus to light shows, dance performances to parties. Big shout out to Grendy, Chloe and all the performers. Plus kudos to Batu, Prince and Aurelien for keeping energy high every night with the parties. Special mention to Max, the Chief of the Village for his enthusiasm and endless energy.

Facilities were great, if you’d like to stay in the middle of main activities, hustle and bustle with kids and music you can stay in the main pool, but if you are seeking for peace and quiet you can go to Zen pool – which is adult only, no music and surrounded by the tropical trees and singing birds.

Club Med Phuket far exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend this resort for anyone whether your family with kids or you are adult group or even solo traveller.

Absolutely incredible experience.

I stayed here for 1 week by myself and even though I was alone I never felt alone because the staff made me feel so welcome and would often join me for meals.

The food variety was so great so many different cuisines and it changed for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily so you were never choosing the same item and it kept it interesting.

The rooms have been recently upgraded so it has a very luxurious feel. The room gets serviced daily. The theatre shows each night are a lot of fun and worth seeing. At the main pool they have activities for all ages to enjoy and then if you’re wanting to relax the adults only zen pool is amazing too.

The dancing after the theatre shows at the main bar is quite fun too and everyone gets involved and has a good laugh. The service at the bar for drinks is so quick as well, you’re never waiting too long.

I want to especially thank Oat, Michelle & Aoy. They took care of me at night and spent dinner with me and had drinks with me at the main bar and encouraged me to dance. Also special mentions to Chiron, Emilio, William, Manow, Alpha, Ari, Kimmy, Julia, Batu, Awan, Azizul, Rosie & Jolie. Everyone’s customer service is unmatched. You guys were all awesome and I’ll miss you a lot.

Also Sophie & Sunny - thank you for your amazing customer service in the spa area. Felt so luxurious and I loved it so much the first time I ended up having a second massage! You should be proud and you’re definitely in the right career because I’ve never felt so relaxed after a service

This was an amazing first time experience for me at club med and I can’t wait to come back to Phuket one day or even visit another club med in the future.

I also love that at the theatre shows they do the introductions in Korean, Chinese, Japanese, English, French & Thai - really reinforced the all inclusiveness of the resort. The staff should be proud for all they do because they sure made my experience amazing.

I also got an airport transfer and someone greeted me as soon as I arrived at the hotel and my luggage was taken to my room and was there once I arrived. Very convenient and great service

Also a special mention to Max. You manage a wonderful team and thank you for encouraging me to come to the middle of the dance floor on the glow night! I’ll never forget all the fun I had

Highly recommend!!

First time to Club Med and we are converted! So much to do and see. All of it wonderful for all members of the family. The friendliness of the staff was so impressive. They have so much energy and enthusiasm.
We'll be back next year! X

Amazing circus team and lots of fun at teens club with Cara and Ayoub, never a moment without having fun. Show each night is beautiful, very welcoming staff everywhere.
