At Club Med, the health and safety of our staff (G.Os & G.Es), and guests (G.Ms) are our priority. Club Med, the pioneer of Premium All-Inclusive holidays, announced plans to open its first resort near Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Malaysia’s Sabah state, in the northern part of Borneo island late 2022. Located at Kuala Penyu Beach – just 90-minutes’ drive from Kota Kinabalu International Airport – the premium all-inclusive Club Med resort with a Club Med Exclusive Collection space (5 Tridents Space) will offer a pristine paradise where virgin jungle meets idyllic powdery white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters.
Club Med, the premium all-inclusive operator and global snow holiday leader has unveiled the results of their recent Asia-Pacific (APAC) Snow Brand Study 2019 as a follow-up from their first snow holiday report in APAC last year. This year’s study took a deeper dive into the habits of snow holiday goers, identifying key insights and influences across 11 markets with 2,200 respondents from China to Australia. This comes alongside the launch of the renovated Club Med Sahoro, Hokkaido resort, catering to the global and regional demand for snow holidays and new mountain adventures.

Club Med celebrated the grand opening of a premium skiing and snowboarding school powered by Club Med and the world-leader Ecole du Ski Francais (ESF, French Ski School) at Beijing Star Mountain Ski Resort. Guests will be embark on an exciting revitalising journey at Club Med Bali from 25 November to 14 December 2018. Using smart scales, Club Med Bali successfully reduced food waste in their kitchens by 56%. Earlier in 2018, the group partnered Winnow to bring in advanced technology that is able to automatically measure what gets disposed of and receive actionable data that helps the chefs reduce overproduction in the kitchens at Club Med Bali.
The resort is also focusing on responsible F&B and raising children's awareness and knowledge about food waste through fun activities in its educational garden.
Club Med is on the lookout for creative content creators to participate in our inaugural Insider Bootcamp. Taking place from 20 to 23 November 2018, selected finalists will get the opportunity to live it up at one of our most desirable resorts at Club Med Kani, Maldives. Club Med is hosting Asia’s first International Qualifying Tennis Event of Les Petits As in joint partnership with LACOSTE at Club Med Bali from 15 to 19 October 2018. This will be the first time Asians will be able to compete for a seat in the main draw of Les Petits As - Le Mondial Lacoste in Tarbes, France. With an expected attendance of 60 participants from more than 10 different federations across Asia, this week-long tennis tournament will enable young athletes to clinch wild cards to the renowned competition next January.
